Everette Ganir

Wedding Filmmaker & Photographer

Hey, I’m Ev.

I’m a Big Island Hawaii wedding filmmaker and photographer creating cinematic, film-inspired work rooted in real moments, movement, and connection. I’m based on the Big Island, usually chasing sunsets or spending time with my son when I’m not filming weddings.

I originally started in tech as a programmer, but quickly realized my heart was elsewhere. Photography and filmmaking gave me a way to tell real stories, connect with people, and capture moments that actually matter.

Over the past several years, I’ve focused on wedding films that blend cinematic storytelling with a natural, documentary approach—so your day feels like you, not a production.

Working with me is relaxed and easygoing. Think of it like hanging out with a friend who just happens to have a camera. No pressure, no awkward posing—just real moments, movement, and honest storytelling. Most of my couples end up feeling like friends by the end of the day, and that connection always shows in the final film.

If that sounds like your vibe, I’d love to hear your story. Let’s create something you’ll actually feel when you watch it years from now.
